The Pistons allowed the Rockets to pull away late in the game with Houston beating Detroit 108-to-100 last night at the Palace. Will Bynum led the Pistons with 21 points and six assists off the bench while rookie forward Greg Monroe had 12 points and 12 rebounds. But Tayshaun Prince missed all nine of his field goal attempts for Detroit and scored just one point.
The Pistons will need to step up tonight as they play at Indiana with the Pacers leading the Pistons by six-and-a-half games for the eight and final playoff spot in the East. Last night, the Pacers won at Washington.
