The Red Wings had a short but punishing practice yesterday following their 4-to-1 defeat Wednesday at home to Nashville, a loss that Detroit Coach Mike Babcock called unacceptable and embarrassing.
The Red Wings play tonight at Boston, heading into Beantown having dropped three of four during which they were outscored 12-to-4.
Thursday’s 30 minute practice ended with football-style suicides with the players skating from blue line to center ice to blue line to the center face off circle. The Red Wings will play Boston again Sunday at Joe Louis Arena.
Last night in the E-C-H-L, the Kalamazoo Wings scored a 4-to-1 win at Trenton.
