WISCONSIN RAPIDS, Wis (WSAU) Another candidate has entered the race for mayor in Wisconsin Rapids. Local architect James Lucas filed his candidacy papers.

There are now three candidates in the race. The others are city council member Andy Nelson and local resident David Walters. A fourth hopeful - Zach Vruwink - said he is still considering a run, but hasn't filed his paperwork yet.

The election is in April. Current Mayor Mary Jo Carson has decided against running for another term.
