STURGIS (WKZO) -- Sturgis police have arrested an 18-year-old found with alcohol after they received tips he might be a burglar, but it turns out he was just very uncooperative. They were given a detailed description of the teen from a neighbor who spotted him in the 500-block of Susan Street and called 911.
Officers made contact, but the teen refused to obey commands, walking to the back of a yard and hiding behind a tree. They eventually went in and brought him out. He was booked and taken to the St. Joseph County Jail, charged with being disorderly and being a minor in possession.
