KALAMAZOO (WKZO) -- The Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety responded to a call that an armed robbery occured in the 200 block of East Michigan Sunday afternoon around 2:45pm.  Officers discovered the suspect hiding in a fenced storage unit facility and also tried to hide himself by changing coats.

Police were able to apprehend the 22-year-old suspect and also found a discared pistol and coat.  The 22-year-old recently moved from Chicago to Kalamazoo and is now at the Kalamazoo County Sheriffs office.
