LIVE UPDATE: First Quarter Shootout in Inaugural Big Ten Title Game, 21-7 Wisconsin

INDIANAPOLIS, IN (WKZO) The 10-2 Michigan State Spartans are looking to win the first Big Ten Championship game tonight at Lucas Oil in Indianapolis as they take on the 10-2 Wisconsin Badgers.  The Spartans are hoping to knock off the Badgers for the 2nd time this season.  The Spartans beat the Badgers on a last second hail mary earlier in the season.

First Quarter: Both offenses are as advertised thus far in the first ever Big Ten title game. Montee Ball has scored twice for Wisconsin, and Kirk Cousins is averaging 12 yards per pass for the Spartans. Wisconsin found the endzone on the opening drive of the game. MSU responded with a touchdown strike of their own on their first drive when Edwin Baker punched it in from 8 yards out. The difference thus far is a costly fumble that turned into 7 points for the Badgers. 21-7 the score at the end of the first quarter.  The second quarter is underway on AM 590 WKZO.

WKZO's Sean Patrick is in Indianapolis and will have full post-game coverage right here.
