KALAMAZOO (WKZO) -- Egging windows, toilet paper in trees - examples of typical teenaged pranks.
Seems a new teen prank has caught the attention of Kalamazoo County Sheriff’s deputies who are warning teens who tear up cornfields with their vehicles won’t be treated like pranksters if they get caught.
Unlike other teen pranks, this can result in thousands of dollars damage to the livelihood of farmers.
At least one SUV full of teens was chased down by property owners and held until deputies could arrive to arrest them. Three are charged with criminal malicious destruction of property and will be required to pay restitution.
