ALLEN PARK, MI (WKZO) - Running back Jahvid Best and defensive end Kyle Vanden Bosch missed their third straight practice Tuesday for the Detroit Lions. Coach Jim Schwartz said Best has been medically cleared to return from the concussion he suffered in Friday's 30-28 exhibition win over the Cleveland Browns and likely will resume practicing Wednesday. But he probably won't play Saturday against the New England Patriots. Also expected not to play is defensive end Kyle Vanden Bosch. Vanden Bosch has a "sore shoulder" from the Browns game and had a doctor's appointment yesterday, Schwartz said, without providing further details. Vanden Bosch had neck surgery that cut short his 2010 season. "I don’t think it’s anything more than short-term," Schwartz said.
