UNION TOWNSHIP, MI (WKZO) -- A crash in Branch County has left two hospitalized. Deputies say the driver of an SUV lost control on a curve along Tuttle Road near Union City, went into a ditch and slammed into several trees. Rescue Crews had to cut and pry the driver and passenger out of the crushed sports utility vehicle.
The driver is listed in serious condition and the passenger is in fair condition, thanks mainly to seat belts. Investigators say it appears the driver was just going too fast to handle the curve.
