What do you get when you put two of history's best pop artists in a recording room together? It looks like we're about to find that out. Reports are claiming that Britney Spears and Lady Gaga are in the midst of planning a musical collaboration. These two queens of pop have developed hit after hit after hit individually, so can you imagine what kind of music they could create if they put those artistic minds together? Not to mention the music video that they could develop... but I'm getting ahead of myself.

Perhaps we should have seen this collaboration coming. GaGa was in Atlantic City to catch Britney's Femme Fatale show earlier this month and apparently met up with Spears backstage to throw ideas around for a possible duet. A source told The Sun that, ""They sat for around an hour gossiping and talking about collaborating together on a track. GaGa already has two songs in mind."" Both of these artists have never been afraid to push the boundaries of pop culture, whether it be bitching at the paparazzi or their unique sense of fashion (and hair) styles (shaved heads and meat outfits have never been more in). But first and foremost, they are performers and always know how to give their fans a special treat. Just recently Britney treated Jersey Shore's DJ Pauly D to his own lap dance right on stage during a performance of Lace and Leather, and we all known Gaga can be just as daring if not more. I seriously hope this ends up happening because my iPod is in need of some new clubbing tunes. Get to work ladies!
