KALAMAZOO (WKZO) -- A teenaged burglar spent the weekend in the juvenile home and will likely be charged this week with home invasion, after he was arrested by officers inside the house he was trying to rob about 4:30 a.m. Saturday.
Kalamazoo Public Safety got a burglary call from the homeowner in the 11-hundred block of Euclid, just west of the WMU campus. Officers found that the back door had been kicked in. They found the 16-year-old suspect cowering in the basement, still holding stolen property from the home.
