BALTIMORE, MD (WKZO) - The Tigers were seeking to take advantage of a not so good Baltimore team, but the Orioles kept things close throughout the game.  In the 6th inning, Andy Dirks put Detroit ahead for good. Broadcast time for game two of the series is 6:40 pm on AM 590 WKZO.   Al Alburquerque was carted off the field before the game when he was hit in the head by a ball during batting practice.  Reports are that Alburquerque suffered a concussion.  His return to the club is uncertain.
