COMSTOCK TOWNSHIP, MI (WKZO) -- He punched out a woman during a road rage incident in Comstock Township. Now public safety is looking for a semi-truck driver, and any of the witnesses who saw the incident at about 5pm Friday evening.
The truck driver apparently didn’t like where a woman making a right turn at 33rd and E. Michigan Avenue stopped at the intersection, flashed some obscene gestures, then got out of his truck and as she tried to get out of her car. Deputies say he pinned her in the door jam, choking her, and then slugged her in the face, threatening to kill her.
Other drivers began yelling at him, and realizing what he had just done, he jumped back in his truck and drove north on 33rd toward Richland.
The suspect was about 50-years-old, white or Hispanic, average height with a heavy build and graying hair.
He was driving a truck with an ‘x’ and the word ‘Caledonia’ on the door and the word ‘Wabash’ on the front side of the trailer.
If that sounds familiar, give the Sheriff’s Department a call.
