(Ann Arbor, MI) -- The wording for a petition to recall Governor Rick Snyder is approved by the Washtenaw County Election Commission. The recall petition from Michigan Citizens United passed with a 2-1 vote today, although one member insists the petition language is not clear, citing several grammatical errors. Complaints in the recall petition include blaming the Governor for the loss of authority and funding for local governments and school districts, and for increasing taxes for seniors and low income people while giving tax cuts to corporations. Michigan Citizens United must now collect around 807 thousand valid signatures in order to get a recall election in November, but a representative says they are not sure when the petitions will start circulating.
