(Detroit, MI) -- The United Auto Workers union is looking at the possibility of holding contract talks with General Motors, Ford and Chrysler at the same time this year. In the past, the UAW has picked one of the automakers to use for the best contract and then base talks with the other two on that. Union president Bob King said yesterday he thinks the relationships between the union and the automakers is on good enough ground to not have to target any of them in that fashion. The current UAW contract with each company expires in September.
