KALAMAZOO, Mich (WLMI) The memorial service for the Kalamazoo Public Safety officer killed in the line of duty last week will be held later this morning. Officer Eric Zapata was killed while in pursuit of a suspect who then took his own life. Family, friends, and hundreds of police officers from around the state and Midwest will gather at Miller Auditorium at 11 a.m. A private burial will be held tomorrow
