KALAMAZOO -- Funeral arrangements have been made following the death of Kalamazoo Public Safety Officer Eric Zapata. Visitation is scheduled at the Langeland Funeral Home at 3926 South 9th Street on Sunday, April 24th, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., and on Monday, April 25th, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. with a wake service at 6:30 p.m. followed by a Rosary. The funeral will be held on Tuesday, April 26th at 11:00 a.m. at Miller Auditorium on the campus of Western Michigan University. A private burial is scheduled to take place Wednesday, April 27th, in Lake Odessa.
