UNDATED (WKZO) -- Gas Prices have gone up nearly 50 cents in the last few weeks, as the “Arab Spring” protests, the fighting in Libya and the growing global economy have sent the price of crude oil jumping well over $107 a barrel.
Prices at most west Michigan stations went up to $3.89 a gallon yesterday, which is unusual for a Sunday.
GasBuddy.com analyst Patrick DeHaan says this isn’t the peak, it could breach the $4 mark this summer. Right now what will happen next is anyone’s guess.
