The Red Wings are 2-and-2 in the pre-season after last night’s 5-to-3 win over the Rangers at Joe Louis Arena. Brian Rafalski had a goal and three assists for Detroit. Tomas Holmstrom and Henrik Zetterberg each had a goal and an assist and Dan Cleary and Patrick Eaves also scored for the Red Wings. Jimmy Howard made 18 saves for Detroit, which plays the Rangers Wednesday in New York.
