LANSING, Mich (WQTX)  The price at the pump is down 10.6 cents per gallon over the past week in Michigan.  AAA Michigan says the statewide average is $2.73--that's 28.3 cents per gallon higher that at this time last year.  Of the cities surveyed--the cheapest price for self-serve regular is in the Saginaw/Bay City area, where it's $2.60 a gallon.  The highest is in the Upper Peninsula community of Marquette at $2.90.

Nationally, the average price for a gallon of regular is holding steady at $2.69.
