CHARLESTON TOWNSHIP -- State police have identified the Muskegon man who had a massive heart attack while driving down I-94 in Kalamazoo County Wednesday afternoon.  Despite receiving assistance and a zap from a defibrillator soon after his attack, 46-year-old Vincent Patrick Smith could not be revived.   A preliminary autopsy confirmed that cardiac arrest was the cause of death.  Smith was a Navy veteran and had two sons in the Navy.

That’s why release of his name was delayed.  They wanted to notify them first.
