CENTREVILLE --Michigan State Police are asking for the public’s help, specifically farmers and hunters to help find Venus Stewart, or some of the items that might be associated with her presumed murder.
They are looking for disturbed earth that that appears to be suspicious. Lt. Mike Risko says farmers are working their fields during the harvest and hunters will soon be in the woods and that poses a problem for their organized searches. They don’t want to become accidental targets. They are asking those same hunters to keep their eyes open.
They are also looking for a grey T-shirt, pajama bottoms, Croc shoes, male swimming trunks, a male pull-over short sleeved shirt with a collar. A long handled shove, camo baseball hat, a blue tarp and gloves.
Anyone who finds any of these items or anything suspicious should give
State Police a call. Anyone who has seen an episode of CSI should know better than to touch the items or disturb the scene.
