There was only one postseason game on tap Monday, and it proved to be a clincher, as the San Francisco Giants pulled out a 3-2 win last night at Atlanta in Game 4 of their National League Division Series. The Atlanta loss ends the long career of Brave’s manager Bobby Cox.

San Francisco will begin the National League Championship Series on Saturday at Philadelphia. Tonight in the American League, it’s the deciding fifth game between the Rangers and the Rays in Tampa Bay. The winner will go on to face the Yankees who advanced with a three game sweep of Minnesota.
