UNDATED (WTVB) - Remember when gas prices were under two dollars per gallon? That was a ways back, or you can probably more easily recall when prices surged in some places to over four dollars per gallon. It doesn't appear we'll be seeing either extreme anytime soon.

Triple-A's Nancy Cain says prices should stay where they're at for now. However, as the economy recovers, she says prices can be expected to head north of three dollars per gallon again. Right now the average statewide is around $2.84.
