Niklas Kronwall and Darren Helm scored 14 seconds apart in the second period to wipe out a 1-to-0 deficit and the Red Wings went on beat the Columbus Blue Jackets 4-to-2 last night at Joe Louis Arena. It gave Detroit a sweep of the home-n-home series after the Red Wings nipped the Blue Jackets Friday night in Columbus.
Jimmy Howard stopped 27-of-29 shots for the Red Wings, who now have 32 points to lead the Western Conference and Central Division by 4 points over Columbus and Chicago. Tomorrow night, Detroit plays at San Jose to begin a 3-game west coast trip.
