NEW YORK (Reuters) - Philadelphia 76ers forward Elton Brand has been suspended one game without pay for a flagrant foul against Washington Wizards center JaVale McGee, the NBA said on Wednesday.
Brand was ejected during Tuesday's 116-114 overtime loss to the Wizards after shoving McGee during a layup attempt with 3:32 remaining in the fourth quarter.
The 31-year-old will serve his ban in Wednesday's game against the Toronto Raptors at Air Canada Center, the league said in a statement.
