(East Lansing, MI)  --  Two students at East Lansing High School are facing charges connected to an assault on a police officer at the school.  One of the students had to be tasered in order to be brought under control.  He has been identified as 17-year-old Marcus Reid, who was charged late last week, along with 17-year-old Hodan Sharif.  The incident started to come to light when Reid's mother expressed concern police used excessive force on her six-feet-two, 220-pound son.  East Lansing police said Sharif was being escorted out of the building when Reid intervened.
