It hasn’t been this bad for the Pistons since the beginning of the 1999-2000 season when they started out 0-and-5. Detroit last night dropped to 0-and-4 when it was brushed aside by Boston 109-to-86 at the Palace. Charlie Villanueva finished with 17 points and seven rebounds for the Pistons, who were playing without Richard Hamilton, who is dealing with an ankle injury.
There’s already some open dissension in the locker room. Detroit Coach John Keuster complained the team didn’t play with passion and has to be more vocal. Tayshaun Prince, who had ten points for the Pistons, said you just don’t look at the team, the Coach also needs to look in the mirror
Tomorrow night, it’s Detroit at Atlanta, which is off to a 4-and-0 start.
