UNDATED (WKZO) -- Gas prices continue to tumble as we head for the start of the summer vacation season. Economic uncertainty in Europe has cut the price of crude as it’s raised the specter of a double-dip recession.
Supplies remain plentiful, demand has not snapped back after the recession, and it all adds up to falling prices at the pump. Trilby Lundberg says nationally prices have dropped a dime in the last two weeks. The average is about $2.82 a gallon nationwide. Prices in west Michigan are ten to twenty cents lower than that.
