Brazil (WIBQ)-The Clay County Humane Society is still trying to figure out who set about 20 dogs free from the outdoor pens sometime late Monday night or early Tuesday morning. Yesterday five dogs, including one that wasn't at the shelter before, were found at Raccoon Lake. Those animals were rounded up and brought back to the Clay County facility. Officials still have not found the remaining animals. The pens the dogs had been in were not locked. Humane Society officials say an exterior fence is locked and it did not seem necessary to lock the inside pens. Anyone with information should call the Clay County Sheriffs Department at 812-446-2535.
