(Lansing, MI) -- Michigan State Police hauled six protesters out of the state Capitol Wednesday after they refused to end a sit-in related to problems in the Detroit Public Schools. There were about two-dozen protesting plans by DPS Emergency Financial Manager Robert Bobb to revamp the district. They were also demanding a meeting with Governor Granholm. The youngest of the group was a 13-year-old girl. Governor Granholm's spokeswoman Liz Boyd said there would be no meeting between the governor and the group. The activist group BAMN, which stands for By Any Means Necessary, organized the protest.
