KALAMAZOO (WKZO) -- The Postal Service has announced it will move some mail sorting and processing from their facility on 9th St. in Oshtemo Township to Grand Rapids in an effort to cut 2.5-million and about 40 jobs from their budget.
They say as the mail volume has declined, it just becomes more efficient to combine operations. They say the transition should be complete by October, and customers should see no changes in their service. Bulk mail will still be processed in Oshtemo.
