UNDATED (WKZO) -- If your plans for spring break include northern Mexico, you may want to change those plans. The State Department is telling Americans to avoid unnecessary travel there because of drug violence.
Spokesman Fred Lash says they are authorizing U.S. Government Employees at 6 consulates in that region to send their families back to the U.S. after two Americans and a Mexican connected to the consulate were gunned down this weekend. Their 1 year old infant child, sitting in the back seat was spared.
