KALAMAZOO (WKZO) -- It’s usually the pattern, gas prices go up as temperatures rise every spring. Trilby Lundberg says in the last two weeks prices have gone up over 9 cents a gallon nationally following the rise in the price of crude.
She says gas prices are now 70-cents a gallon over where they stood a year ago. Gasbuddy.com shows the average in west Michigan is about $2.70 a gallon, some charging up to a nickel more, some a few cents less. Those are some of the highest prices since last summer.
