LAKE DELTON, Wis. (WTAQ) - The "he said-she said" sexual assault case involving a Packers player takes another turn. Lake Delton police say cornerback Brandon Underwood is under investigation for assaulting 2 Milwaukee women over the weekend.

But Chief Tom Dorner now says conflicting statements by the people involved makes it tough to get a good read on what happened. The PD won't make a recommendation on charges, when they turn over its police reports to the Sauk County DA within a day or two.

Dorner will also asked DA Patricia Barrett to expedite the case due to its high profile nature. He also says police didn't believe they had enough probable cause to arrest Underwood.

7 Packers players were participating in a charity golf outing in Wisconsin Dells during the weekend and stayed together in a condo in nearby Lake Delton. Early Saturday police received a report that the two women, ages 31 and 33, who'd met the players hours earlier at a bar had been sexually assaulted. The 7 players were questioned by police and 6 were cleared.
