(Detroit, MI) -- Violent storms tore through Michigan and northern Ohio over the weekend, leaving at least five people dead in their wake in both states. A nuclear power plant in Monroe County was automatically shut down due to the weather, and an outside wall of the facility was damaged. A tornado also caused damage at the Cabela's in Dundee. An F-1 tornado hit in west Michigan, knocking down trees and causing damage in Baroda. Several thousand in the Detroit and Toledo areas lost power.
