KALAMAZOO (WKZO) - By nearly everyone's account, Michigan roads are in bad shape and could become much worse if the situation is not addressed. A move to ensure that federal dollars for roads come to Michigan has some worried, though.
Michigan Infrastructure and Transportation Association President Mike Nystrom says it's good that state lawmakers are trying to make sure federal matching dollars come to the state. However, he says, they're doing at the expense of other priorities. He says they're still 84-million dollars short of the 475-million dollars needed for matching funds.
