KALAMAZOO -- The search for Kalamazoo’s latest murder suspect has hit a snag.  The person who may have the best idea of what actually happened, is refusing to cooperate.
38-year-old Eric Lamont Jenkins was killed Wednesday evening by a gunman as he sat with a friend on the porch of a home on Washington.   Deputy Chief Brian Uridge says the second man, who was shot in the arm, heard the conversation that led up to the shooting, and may have gotten the best look at the killer’s face, but he’s not talking.
Uridge says they have several persons of interest and eyewitness accounts but the victim could tie it all together.  Uridge says they have only a vague description of the gunman.
