The Red Wings are in the middle of a 5-game road trip. They play tonight at Los Angeles before skating Saturday at San Jose and then next Tuesday against the New York Islanders before returning home.

 Ex-Red Wings star Chris Chelios is facing an O-U-I-L charge. The 47-year old Chelios, who is playing minor league hockey with the Chicago Wolves, has a February First court date after being arrested December 28^th in Westmont, Illinois for driving under the influence, speeding and improper lane usage.

 And last night in the ECHL, the Kalamazoo Wings won 4-to-3 in overtime at Johnstown.
