HOWARD TOWNSHIP -- A double murder in Cass County has prompted State Police to ask for the public’s help to identify who may have wanted John Tarwacki and his wife, Carolyn dead, or anyone who was seen hanging around their home at 979 Carberry Road in Howard Township early Friday morning.
State Police Lt. Michael Brown refused to say how the couple was killed. Some witnesses say they spotted a white male in his 20’s or 30’s with brown hair and a medium build, walking away from the home at around the time of the killings. They also found tracks in the snow.
