STURGIS -- Sturgis Police are investigating the theft of over ten thousand dollars in tools from a construction site. They say the theft happened sometime between the 7th and the 15th of this month at a site in the 300 block of North Prospect. They say whoever made off with the goods likely needed a van or truck to do so because so much was taken.
Among the items stolen were a torch set, a battery charger, a leaf blower, a 12 horsepower Honda motor, hammer drills, angle grinders, a number of hefty sledge hammers, shovels, and many other items. They ask that anyone with information on the case contact Sergeant Johnson or Sergeant Smith at the Sturgis Police Department.
