The Hornets pummeled the Pistons 93-to-74 last night in New Orleans. Detroit was outscored in all four quarters as its road record this season dropped to 2-and-11. The Hornets won for just the third time in their last nine games after an 11-and-1 start. Ben Gordon came off the bench to score 19 points for the Pistons.
Detroit has struggled this season when playing on back-to-back nights and Coach John Keuster said that was the case again against the Hornets after the Piston’s loss Tuesday at Houston. Detroit will finish a 3-game road trip tomorrow night at Minnesota.
