It was a no practice day Tuesday for the Red Wings following their 5-to-2 loss Monday night to the Sharks at Joe Louis Arena, where tonight Detroit hosts Nashville.

Red Wing’s Coach Mike Babcock decided a day of rest was in order after last week’s 3-game trip to California with the return to Michigan on Sunday and then the game with San Jose on Monday. Detroit has 13 more games to play in December.

Last night in the ECHL, the Kalamazoo Wings lost 4-to-3 at South Carolina.
