Thank shih tzu puppies David Letterman returned to TV last night, because I was beginning to resent Jon Stewart for being so diligent with his coverage of the world around us, while Letterman was off doing whatever he does when he doesn't have an intern locked away in his attick. Last night, Letterman talked to my main man Brian Williams, who entertained the idea of never doing another Leno show. Actually, I'm quite supportive of that because the more time B.W. spends in NYC, the less time he'll spend in L.A., and I can invite him over to my house to help me t.p. my roommate's kitty.
That's not to say I don't love Jon Stewart, because I do very much. If it was raining and we hailed the same cab, I'd let him have it in addition to my Fiber One chocolate bar. Last night, he talked to Illinois' former governor Rod Blagojevich, who explained the reasons why he didn't testify at his trial.
