DETROIT -- Detroit Mayor Dave Bing has endorsed Virg Bernero for governor. Bing released a statement announcing his endorsement, saying he believes Bernero possesses, quote, "a unique sensitivity, an unwavering commitment, and experienced leadership to help move our city and state forward." Bernero, the mayor of Lansing, is up against Ann Arbor businessman Rick Snyder in November's election for Michigan governor.
