(Lansing, MI) -- A federal judge has scheduled a hearing on Michigan's lawsuit on the threat of Asian carp. Attorney General Mike Cox said the first hearing in the case will be next Monday in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. Attorneys general from Wisconsin, Minnesota, Ohio and Pennsylvania have joined Cox in the lawsuit. Cox filed suit over what his office calls the Army Corps of Engineers "dismal record of inaction in confronting Asian carp."
