Perez Hilton Re-Enacts Steven Slater Incident: Late Last Night
Now let me tell you. I have been waiting TWO DAYS to write about a little known man who advocates for dramatic exits on airplanes and takes advantage of intercoms in the right ways. I have been WAITING! Twiddling my thumbs, sitting in the "sick person" corner of a doctor's office with a mask over my face WAITING to write about Steven Slater. I'm not sure if people outside the New York and Jersey know about Steven Slater because chances are, your news coverage consists of rogue fire hydrants and police officers tazing bears for staging shoot outs around white picket fences after watching Mr. and Mrs. Smith too many times. But if you don't know who Slater is, Google "Steven Slater, American Hero."
Anyhow, there was lots of Steven Slater coverage last night. Let's run through it.
Jimmy Fallon reviewed the whole story, and even wrote a song about Slater.
Fallon also had Perez Hilton on his show, which if we weren't talking about Steven Slater, I'd make a Miley Cyrus joke. Perez re-enacted a portion of Slater's incident.
Stephen Colbert awarded Slater with the "Alpha Dog of the Week" award but not because of his fantastical exit from the plane, but rather because when police when to arrest him at his house, they found him boning his boyfriend. Word to your mother.

Everyone else did their regular things. Jon Stewart sent Wyatt Cenac to investigate the development of a mosque two blocks away from Ground Zero. What did he find? Pretty much that Muslims and their culture can already be found in lower Manhattan anyway. So you can imagine how "see something, say something" he was walking around yesterday.

Stewart also talked to Jason Bateman about his new movie, The Switch. Bateman explained that whenever his daughter sees the poster for the film, where he's peeking into an empty cup of what used to be semen, he tells his daughter that he's really just smelling some yogurt.

Leno talked to Anna Kendrick, who's also in Scott Pilgrim vs. The World, who spoke about how she went to the Oscars with her mom and going to the Madonna party afterward, where she worried she was going to get body slammed by security guards.
He also talked to Eli Roth about his childhood in Massachusetts and going to see horror movies that would make him vomit.
