WEST MICHIGAN (WKZO) -- A multi-state manhunt is underway to locate a Virginia man who may have abducted his estranged wife from her parent’s home in St. Joseph County. State Police say they don’t think that 32-year-old Venus Rose Stewart left voluntarily from the home on Driftwood in Colon Township, with Douglas Harrie Stewart early yesterday morning.
She left wearing pajamas. They think they may be headed back to Newport News, Virginia where he lives, but they can’t say for sure. They are asking for your help to locate the couple. They may either be driving a 1998 Silver Mercury four door with Virginia plates, or a 2005 silver Dodge Ram extended cab pick-up with Virginia plates.
