It was a travel day Wednesday for the Red Wings, who will try to steal home-ice advantage away from the Coyotes tomorrow night when they play at Phoenix with the first round Western Conference playoff series tied at two games apiece.
Meanwhile, Detroit's Pavel Datsyuk has been named as one of the three the finalists for the Lady Byng Memorial Trophy, which is given to the player who best exhibits sportsmanship and excellence on the ice. Datsyuk is looking to win the trophy for the fifth straight year. Last night’s playoff action included one game as Vancouver defeated Los Angeles 6-to-4 to even their series after four games.
