(Lansing, MI) -- A bill has been introduced in the state House to require gas stations to have full-service pumps. Representative Bert Johnson of Detroit has authored the bill in an effort to help senior citizens and disabled people. His bill mandates gas stations charge the same price as self-serve gasoline for customers over the age of 65 and for those who are disabled. The legislation has been referred to the House Committee on Commerce. Lawmakers will return to the state Capitol later this month.
